Of course! Not only will I teach you the practical side of things and help you to become comfortable behind the wheel, I will also make you familiar with the theoretical side of driving. During the lesson I will regularly ask questions to build up your knowledge for the theory test.

This is totally dependent on your circumstances as I am very flexible. I am based in Heywood but I can travel to you, I also offer a pick up and drop off service should you like a lesson prior to starting work (within reasonable distance). 

Yes! Rob’s Driving School is a one man band, I prefer it this way so that we can get familiar with eachother and students can relax without having to get to know different instructors each lesson who may teach things different ways to me.

We will use the first lesson to see what you need in order to get you driving. For those that have never driven let’s start from the beginning, for those that are starting to learn again we’ll see what you know. We go at your pace and ensure you are happy and comfortable as we go.

This is a question that is totally dependent on the individual, some people can be quicker and some people can take a little longer. The average student takes about 45 lessons with an instructor plus 22 private hours to pass the test.

Yes! I encourage that you get learners insurance and practice. We will teach you what to practice to create good habits.
